As a child growing up in a small town called Virginia in the Free State I always knew that I had a calling in my life, and that calling was to serve. Everyone born in this world is here for a purpose and I believe that this is mine. I always knew that I wanted to make an impact or a difference in someone else life, in a positive way.

Studying in the field of Humanities was another step for me to get closer to my dream. I have obtained my degree in Social Sciences at the University of Free State. And while I was still studying I have worked as a student assistants, a fieldworker in different projects, an assistant researcher and Office Manager at the very same University but different departments. This has allowed me, especially as a Fieldworker, a firsthand experience in how poverty really affects children in all aspects of their lives. And that has ignited the passion that I always had, which is to really make a difference in a child's life and give them hope.
